Credits & Subscription
1. What are credits
A credit is an internal unit used to pay for certain actions in Labio. Your balance is shared per user account (it does not depend on how many profiles you have).
2. Starter credits
When you register, Labio may grant a one‑time starter bonus (for example, 15 credits) so you can try the features.
3. When credits are charged
Paid actions may include (but are not limited to):
- uploading a lab report to the server;
- AI insight for a report;
- AI insight for a metric/trend.
Credits are charged before the action is performed. If you don’t have enough credits, the action won’t run and the App may suggest opening the Balance screen.
4. How the balance is calculated
- Credits increase after purchasing a credit pack or receiving the starter bonus.
- Credits decrease when paid actions are performed.
- Your balance is shown on the Profile and Balance screens.
5. How subscription works
Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) provides extended access during the subscription period. While subscription is active, paid actions may be available without spending your credits.
Important: if you already have purchased credits, they do not disappear. While subscription is active, credits are not spent. After subscription ends, actions start spending credits again.
6. Why you might need to wait briefly
Purchases are validated by Apple/Google. Usually this takes seconds, but sometimes longer (e.g., unstable internet). Once validated, your balance updates automatically.
7. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds/cancellations are governed by Apple App Store and Google Play policies. If a purchase is canceled or deemed invalid, we may revoke benefits granted by that purchase (credits/subscription).
